DC Author Festival

Dr. Amina Hassan invites you to attend this year’s DC Author Festival where she will discuss and sign her biography, Loren Miller: Civil Rights Attorney and Journalist.  This public celebration is an all day celebration of the thriving literary community of the District. Enjoy readings, writing workshops, and local author and publisher vendor booths.

On Wednesday, June 8, from 11:00am to 11:52am (EDT) Amina will be on WPFW-fm,89.3 where I will be discussing Loren Miller's early life; Miller's life as one of the most important civil rights lawyers of the 20th Century; his importance as a journalist/newspaper publisher and his friendship with Langston Hughes.
